Here are the pictures from Saturday's service project at Baldy Bill's. To complete the requirements for the Citizenship in the Community merit badge, the boys needed to complete 8 hours of service for a charity. We were able to complete all 8 hours of service in one day and we had a great time in the process. Sorry about not having the "before" pictures. I forgot that I had the camera with me until we'd been working for a couple of hours.
The building that we were helping gut and clean up will be turned into a Senior Citizen Center as well as a center for children to be tutored. Bill is an excellent chef and will be providing free hot breakfast for kids who normally wouldn't get breakfast before school. If you hover your mouse over the pictures you can see captions for the pictures.

Welcome to the Troop 282's blog
This is our blog for Troop 282. This is where we will post troop activities, and stuff, and the troop calender. We are doing lots of stuff, so stop by frequently. This was created to inform parents about activities and other news about scouting. This blog was created to pass off a requirement for Communications and Computers for Stephen (Obama will eat your children) , Dallin (ME), Parker (penguins rock/being short rocks/mophead/whatever you want), Justin (dice dice), and Galen (Ernie [cows/go cows/cows rock]). We hope that you will be uplifted and enlightened after reading our blog. Enjoy.
